There's a very interesting article in the latest AdWeek, which will go behind a walled garden after a week:

What I think is really great about this is that Apple is allowing developers to provide services that make an easy to use, intuitive device even more useful and fun.

And iPhone helped lift AT&T's profitability:

Part of the reported 'iPhone effect' is that it 'smartened Quicken
up', too. It just needs a noise cancelling mic and a Dragon plug-in
to make it a full fledged computer. Perhaps that is still dreaming,
but: for how long ?
