I've found both the Blueworld

<http://www.listsearch.com/filemakerprotalk.lasso?manage>

and the Dartmouth

<FMPRO-L-subscribe-requestLISTSERV.DARTMOUTH.EDU>

lists very helpful in the past.

There doesn't seem to be any stigma in posting a query to both of
those lists at the same time (as far as I can tell) - and as they
tend to have different inhabitants, it spreads the net wider and
gives a better chance of a useful response. Make sure you quote your
FMP version and Mac OS version when posting a query, and make your
subject line pertinent. I think there are archives of both lists, but
to my shame I've not used them.

Hope this helps.

regards

Rowland

The newsgroup comp.databases.filemaker still seems to be pretty active. I haven't been there in ages, so I don't know what the quality is like now.

Re: FileMaker lists

I'm a fan of Nabble. It has six FileMaker lists it tracks, including the very helpful FMExperts: http://www.nabble.com/Filemaker-f734.html

FMPUG is also excellent: http://www.fmpug.com
