Just in case anyone is unaware of this (I was!) you can do Command-Shift-4
and then hit the space bar for a camera icon that allows you to take a
screenshot of any open window. Unfortunately, it does not add a window
border or shadow, but you can add a border relatively easily in Photoshop,
and you can add a shadow with only a few hours' training. :-> (Sorry, Adobe,
but you are truly the Microsoft of graphics.) You can also add a border with
a single click in Word or DreamWeaver, if you're writing a manual or some
other sort of documentation.

Or, if you need to do it often, just buy SnapzPro, which is the tool
of choice for screenshots.

Command-Control-Shift 3 or 4 will put the shot in the clipboard for
pasting into Photoshop or whatever.

Re: Two Corrections in TidBITS 827

Thank you Peter for your comments on Photoshop. I had begun to doubt
my IQ and my ability to learn new tricks (I'm 53) but your comment
reassured me that no-one finds learning Photoshop easy but then again
when I do finally master a technique the buzz is heightened!
Rose.
