Wireless Mouse has stopped tracking

I have an Apple Wireless Mouse and it has stopped tracking. It still
reports in the Bluetooth preference panel that it is paired and it
will still register clicks, but when I move it, it will no longer
mover the curser. It stopped responding right after I had changed its
batteries (which I have done before, and although it stopped
responding then as well, it was only temporary). Does anyone have any
ideas concerning how I can make it work again?

Did you check the batteries? They give me a headache every now and then also in my keyboard (also a bluetooth)
Just try replacing them with a fresh set and see if the problem stays or goes.
Greetings

Yes, I tried it with several fresh pairs of batteries, and it still
did not work. However, I took it back to my local Apple dealer and he
would up replacing it. The portion of the mouse which does the
scanning had stopped working. At least I'm reassured now that it
wasn't something I did, or that it wasn't all in my head. :-)
