Tech support for ThinkFree Office

In the past I've recommended ThinkFree Office as an inexpensive
alternative to Microsoft Office. Their latest version does, in fact,
work very well in simulating MS Office.

However, my recent and not so recent experience with their Technical
Support causes me to caution in the strongest possible terms that,
while the software works well, the Technical Support is
*non-existent*!

I've tried contacting these folks regarding some problems I've been
having with the software. I've tried the link on their Web page, I've
tried sending them email and I've tried calling them (all I get is an
answering machine).....repeatedly. I yet to receive a single
response! Some of my requests on their Web page go back to last
October.

So I'm forced to conclude that while they have excellent software
(and some good reviews in various publications), if you have any
problems you're on your own.

Caveat Emptor!
