Digital television changing fast

Anyone considering a digital television in the next few months should
probably wait to see what prices the new surface-conduction electron
emitter display (SED) TV sets will cost when they come onto the market.
They have the brightness and contrast of a cathode ray tube, but they
are also almost as slim as a a plasma set. Plasma TV sets use quite a
bit of electricity while SED sets use less. They should be out in the
next 5 months.
