In regard to Matt Neuburg's article, can one search the DEVONthink database with Spotlight?

I believe not, but but I use DEVONThink and I find its own searching
is so very quick that I wouldn’t dream of bothering with Spotlight.
The complexity of the searches DTP allows is limited, as Neuberg’s
article indicates, but given the extreme speed of the search, and the
ease with which one can refine the search by adding another term and
choosing “in selection,“ that’s never a problem for me.

FWIW I wouldn’t be without DEVONThink Pro, and I do believe it’s
underpriced at $75.

I'm looking forward to multiple databases.

Enhanced AppleScript support is, I suppose, a good thing. Currently there
are so many AppleScripts scattered throughout the DT package that it's hard
to keep track of them all (e.g. which script belongs to which application),
and updating them all when new apps come out is time consuming and
confusing.

Don't get me wrong though, these complaints are faint compared to how much I
use and like Devon Think and its associated apps.

I'd also like to see it provided in a 5-license pack, like OmniOutliner,
OmniGraffle, Now Up To Date and iWork '05.

Ray -
Can you explain what Devonthink offers that outliners like Tao or Omni and
database/outliner hybrids like Circus Ponies NoteBook don't?

Here's a good overview.
