iChat and Parental Control

[Symon, Grant]Grant Symon - 08:39am Aug 25, 2005 PST

I've been using the Parental Control in Tiger to restrict various aspects of a machine. This works very well indeed. However, I've stumbled over one thing .... iChat.

I need to restrict the AIM names available to the User (Buddy List), but I also need to *allow* 'Bonjour' (Rendezvous) messaging on the local network. As far as I can see, restricting iChat at all, results in 'Bonjour' being switched off for that User.

Does anyone know of a way of permitting 'Bonjour' messaging whilst at the same time restricting iChat AIM names?
