What would an Apple tablet be like

>Can an Apple tablet be far behind?

Here's a data point in the vast space between PDA and laptop:

  http://www.pepper.com/

The Pepper Pad seems to be aimed at the 19-and-mobile, media-
consuming market. It's pricey at $800. Its design, while ser-
viceable for its intended uses, is nowhere near the Apple
standard. This pad has built-in Wi-Fi, USB 1.1, and infrared
ports for aggregating household remote controls. An 800-by-
600 pixel screen, a 20-GB hard drive, and it weighs 2.3 pounds.
