Can two users share one iPod ?

I can't seem to find an answer to this question ... is there any way
that my partner and I (we have separate user accounts) can share a
single iPod - by which I mean have both of our music libraries (or
parts thereof) on the same iPod ? I guess we could amalgamate our
libraries, but I don't really want to do that. Thanks,

Mike McHugh

No, you can't. You could create individual playlists for each of you,
perhaps prefacing your playlists with M- and your partner's with their
initial, but you cannot "switch" libraries on the iPod.

Easily, if you don't autosync your entire music libraries to your iPod.

My wife has a 4GB mini, so she couldn't keep the entire library on
the mini. She copies the things she wants on it manually, playlist by
playlist. I have but a 20GB 3G, so I copy what I want on it manually.

You can your partner can do the same.
