Autocorrect in Word 2008: where?

[Roussak, Jeremy]Jeremy Roussak - 01:32am Oct 23, 2008 PST

For various reasons, I've had to reinstall Leopard on my desktop Mac (8-core Pro), including a reformat. I've reinstalled Office 2008, but my autocorrect entries, which I use a lot, are missing. I'm in the process of manually setting up my account again (I don't want to use the migration assistant), but I can't find the document that stores the autocorrect entries.

Does anyone know where they are kept?

Thanks.

~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft ACL [English]

(other languages may also be available, depending on what you have
installed or used).

I added an AutoCorrect then sorted my Microsoft preferences by date and it
shows this file:

"~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft Office ACL [English]"

However, I have this note, but it's older. My Normal file did not show a
modification to the date after I made the change.

AutoCorrect entries (Stored in two locations) The formatted entries are in
the Normal template, the office-wide plain-text entries are in the MS Office
ACL file.
