Extend iTunes Movie Rentals Beyond 24 Hours
Cristi Cotovan - 01:00am Jul 9, 2008 PSTGuest UserSadly, this does not appear to work properly (anymore). tried it today
and after iTunes asked me whether I wanted to resume or stop, I clicked
resume and all the frames of the movie were grey. No image, just the
sound. No matter how many times I switched between fullscreen and back,
the image just would not appear. So... I guess they did something.... or
my iTunes is broken!?

I had this happen recently, too. I used Apple's feedback form for
iTunes support to explain the problem, and the next day a customer
service rep wrote back, apologizing for the inconvenience and setting
my account so that I could re-download the movie. I even got it for
another 30 days, so I can still watch the end of the movie (There Will
Be Blood, still 40 minutes left to watch).
