Whither My Dream App?

Let me start off by saying that, from the beginning, I found the "My
Dream App" idea both over idealistic and reality deprived. No those
are not redundant but there is a strong overlap. However when it
finished I was actually interested in two of the three winners.
"Atmosphere" while potentially cool would be disabled within a day on
my machines. "Cookbook" however I would definitely use. "Portal" was
somewhere between the two, it seemed like an interesting idea I just
wasn't sure if I had a use for it but I was interested in finding out
how well it worked. Over the months that followed "Atmosphere" dropped
off the radar, the developer for "Portal" discovered that syncing is
hard but "Cookbook" seemed to be making quite a bit of progress.

Last night I was looking for a recipe in my stack of hand written
cards and I remembered "Cookbook." So I brought up mydreamapp.com and
found that, uh, nothing had been updated in almost a year. So did they
meet the expectations of all the naysayers or did anything actually
come out of this and I just missed it? For all my disparaging of the
process "Cookbook" would be something I would buy.
