Un-junking TidBITS digests

Folks,

although I have never asked for it, my Thunderbird 2.0.0.12
systematically kicks the TidBITS digests into the Junk box (although
they are not marked as junk). How can I change this? Thanks.

If you un-mark it as junk TB should learn. And I think you can put the from address for Tidbits into your address book and have TB set to ignore it. SeaMonkey has this and most features like this fall down from TB. But you might have to set a preference.

i am not familiar with thunderbird's method of junk mail protection,
but it is normally sufficient to put the sender of an email into your
address book for it to be immune from the spam engine.

Michel,

Check your spam filter system to ensure that it is not putting the
e-mail into Junk.

Another problem may be your ISP since some of them will automatically
junk any mail that appears to come from a source that e-mails to a
large list. They assume that is SPAM. I had this problem when
suddenly I stopped getting my Tidbits digests. I could not convince
my ISP to let my e-mail through nor could my SPAM filter resolve the
issue. Finally, I gave up and worked through TidBits Internet page.

Try putting the TidBITS digests From: address into your trusted
recipients list, or into your address book. Tricks like that should
work; if not: ask your grandchildren, nephews or nieces to fix it.
Bonne chance.

I also don't know about Thunderbird but after you add it to your
address book check your preferences in Thunderbird to make sure that
if there is a choice to exclude emails from those in your address
book from being identified as junk mail that it is checked. Somehow
my Mail preference was got unchecked once.
