Adobe Reader Working Reference

Adam et al:

Recently had to install Adobe Reader 7.0.8 required for working with
City documents, and finding it difficult to operate easily.
Probably due mostly to mine own non-geekdom, but if you can suggest
TidBits or other working guide, your help will be highly appreciated.

Odd situation developed around City documents, too; the PDF sent
produced a working form in which every fill-in line, open to
information demanded for that question, simply expanded while refusing
to allow insertion of information OR accepting the information offered
but still expanding.
Substitution of newly-sent PDF offered precisely the same situation.
Some TidBits responses to simple description worked but none to clear
difficulty and make form-answers produced workable as for job
application.

Any possible suggestions, perhaps to pass along to City geek-guru
working to remedy this ??

The main thing I'd recommend is downloading and trying Adobe Reader
8, which is the current version. I've worked very little with Acrobat
forms, so I don't know much about them.

cheers... -Adam
