Tiger on Current iMac

I have a new iMac MA877LL which I would really like to set up with Tiger. But the fully updated copy I tried to clone onto it will not see the Ethernet card. The MA877LL has been out since before Leopard.

I'm guessing that the install DVD for it from before Leopard had a few drivers that never made it to the general distribution.

Anyone know a way to get an install DVD for this model? It's the 20" 2.4GHz Al.

TIA
David Ross

I did find someone local who bought this model just as Leopard was coming out and had the DVDs with Tiger on them. That worked. But the local Apple store didn't have them. They suggested calling Applecare. If this comes up in the future does anyone know how to coax this out of Applecare? Do the developer program members have access to older install images?

Thanks
David Ross
