Crucial bug in Safari for Leopard

I have discovered a bug in Safari that can actually hang the entire sstem and forcing a hard restart.

This error occurs with the downloading of files into the Safari window (pdf's and sound files).

In earlier Safari updates, one was prevented from saving a pdf or sound file until it was entirely downloaded into the Safari window. However, now, one can prematurely save such files by accident and Safari will allow it (when it would not allow it before). When one accidentally tries to save a file with the Safari "Save as" command while it is still downloading, the entire system will hang. The Finder is frozen and one cannot go from program to program. The "Foce quit" window will appear, showing that Safari is not responding and, when one tries to force Safari to quit, it will not quit at all and one cannot get to any other applications in the Finder at all.

Has anyone experienced this?
