this kind of thing is exactly why I'm trying to move to the OpenDoc
format ... and OpenOffice.org has gone a long way with their Aqua
version. But certainly it would be nice if Apple themselves produced a
suite that plays well with ODF, if not one that uses it as the default
format for Keynote, Numbers, and
I'm curious whether iWork saves (or whether a future version will save)
in opendoc formats? I understand Leopard will support ODF and TextEdit
will support it. Anyone?
Meanwhile, I really need to hunt through archived documents to convert
my AppleWorks (and even ClarisWorks) docs to MS Office formats, and then
to ODF as, hopefully, if the ODF dream works out as planned -- their
final permanent format.
