Entering recurring lunar events in iCal

Entering recurring lunar events in iCal: I belong to a large Buddhist
organization. I use a standard iCal 2.0.5 on an Intel Mac Pro.
I will have my iPhone next week.

I need to supplement standard reoccurring events "every 1st Thursday"
"every sunday"
with events held on "every quarter moon", "every full moon", and "every
10th and 25th day of every lunar month".

I understand both Jewish and Islamic religious people might have the
same need to establish reoccurring lunar cycle based event in iCal.

Thanks This is a rather necessary solution to have!

Harald,

If it's a big enough group and you can't create them in iCal,
you might want to create a Google Calendar (free) and subscribe to
that from iCal. That way one person (perhaps yourself, sorry) could
manually create the events and other members could subscribe. iCal
and the Mozilla calendar client, as well as others (I don't know
about Outlook) can subscribe to Google Calendar. I maintain a couple
calendars this way.

If you're interested in a more general Buddhist calendar (not
just meeting dates and such), you might find one already:

If you end up publishing a calendar with widespread
relevance, get Apple to publish yours:
