Yeah, saw cnet's review which was more complimentary. She started by
telling how much she likes the new color.
My Treo 650 has to stay in one piece for a while longer. Palm is
behind the curve. iPhone is a maybe but pricey and monthly fees /
calling plans remain an unknown.

So true.
I have an ageing Treo 600 that has had a few near-death experiences.
I was hoping it would survive until the iPhone arrives but...
I loathe AT&T to such a high degree and I strongly suspect, based on
their track record that they will penalize the early adopters with
exorbitant rate plans. My current carrier just sent me a series of
flyers flaunting half-price Smartphones of all types, indicating that
they are running scared of the iPhone. I plan on leveraging that for
the best deal i can get on a current "P" Treo and wait for future
revs of the iPhone. Perhaps even the AT&T lock-in will be lifted.
