Treo 755 Review

Take a look at mytreo.net for a review of the "new" Treo 755. Tepid,
to say the least.

I'm gonna' continue waiting for the new "mystery Treo" due out in six
months or so. Maybe Palm will have their new OS ready by then.

Yeah, saw cnet's review which was more complimentary. She started by
telling how much she likes the new color.

My Treo 650 has to stay in one piece for a while longer. Palm is
behind the curve. iPhone is a maybe but pricey and monthly fees /
calling plans remain an unknown.

So true.

I have an ageing Treo 600 that has had a few near-death experiences.
I was hoping it would survive until the iPhone arrives but...

I loathe AT&T to such a high degree and I strongly suspect, based on
their track record that they will penalize the early adopters with
exorbitant rate plans. My current carrier just sent me a series of
flyers flaunting half-price Smartphones of all types, indicating that
they are running scared of the iPhone. I plan on leveraging that for
the best deal i can get on a current "P" Treo and wait for future
revs of the iPhone. Perhaps even the AT&T lock-in will be lifted.
