Unofficial Daylight Saving Time Workaround for Entourage X
dianeofor (apparently)
- 12:51pm Feb 28, 2007 PSTvia email - MS MVPOffice 2004 was updated for the DST changes (11.3.3) however, Office X will
not be updated by Microsoft. Officially, Office X has reached the end of
it's life-cycle. Support for Entourage X ended January 9, 2007.
A workaround for the DST change has been provided by a group of anonymous
contributors in the Entourage Mac community for Entourage X. It is provided
"as is" with no warranties or support.

This is a workaround not a fix.
Any questions about using the workaround should be addressed on the
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage newsgroup.

Re: Unofficial Daylight Saving Time Workaround for Entourage X
There is only one message on this topic -- is that right?
I poked around in the links a little bit, but didn't find a description of
the odd Entourage calendar problem I'm having.
I am in US Eastern time: normally in NYC but this semester at Notre Dame. My
internet access is in a part of Indiana which has switched this year from no
change (half the year was on Chicago time, half on New York time) to always
being on New York time.
In my Entourage calendar, repeating appointments are one hour off for two
weeks coming up in March, but then go back to correct.
The two-week part baffles me. Is that the problem referred to?

That should be the time in between when Daylight Savings Time changes
(this weekend) and the date when your computer is expecting it to
change (3 weeks later).
If I understand your question correctly. In which case, it'll happen
again at the other end, when we switch back an hour later than
previously.

Apple has a daylight saving time update. It does not fix the Entourage
problem.
